Dealership solves my paint issue.

I have had my 2008 Tundra since the June, and already I had paint flaking off around the door sill. So, I took it to the local dealership in Lubbock, TX. They told me that the paint problem was just normal wear and tear. I couldn't understand how they could say this on a truck that is not even a month old yet! Anyways, I took it to the dealership that I bought the truck from, Don McGill in Katy, Texas. It was worth the ten hour trip because they took one look at the problem area and told me that it was a warranty issue and they would have the truck back to me in a day and half.

So if you guys are having problems with your paint, and live in the Katy/Houston area, take it to Don McGill. I have had nothing but great experiences with them.

The warranty should be nation wide.

Cars sold in Hawaii are actually under a different dstribution, it's it's like moving to MExico or Canada, you will have to have your VIN added to their system as a visiting owner
