How do I remove the turn signal cap on my tow mirrors???

I'm about to tint my tail lights and wanted to also tint that little yellow marker on the outside of my tow mirrors. Do they just pop off?? I don't want to break one. Thanks!!!

I'm not a mod on TS. I'm not even on TS anymore. The owner of TS claimed that all my mod descriptions and pictures belonged to him after he changed the rules for their DIY contest. I disagreed, deleted my articles for the contest, and showed other people (off site) what he said and he banned me from the site for it. Fine with me since TS is the worst Toyota forum on the web. Tundradrenaline is a mod there who tried to steal my articles and post them back up again after I was banned for life. I put a stop to that real quick by changing the linked pictures and so they erased all my posts on their website.

I am a mod on TundraTruckz which is a very helpful group of people.

what are you using to tint everything, "vinals or vht spray" or something different

I'm taking them to a body shop that mixes clearcoat with paint. I'm gonna ask them to not go too dark. I tried the vinyl tint and it drove me nuts trying to put it on.

only issue i know of is removing it if you get a ticket

Yea, that's my main concern. Wouldn't a little paint thinner do the job or would that destroy the plastic??

Im not positive.

I hear if you put a clear coat on over the paint on the tail lights, it wont come off

if you dont put the clear coat it will

but it looks like $hit without the clear coat
