Bagged me a charger

My supervisor has been talking smack since I got my truck...."oh you ain't got nothin' on my car....I'll blow your doors off" things like that, well I drove my truck to work today and the first thing he says when he pulls up is "my charger is hungry...it wants to eat your tundra" well I tell him after work we'll run them and see what happens. I figure it should be pretty close but he's told me on several occasions that he has beat two crew maxes before, " I had 2 car lengths on them by 60"....but I figure why not. So after we clock out we leave the plant ( we work at a phosphate mine) and head out to the entrance road, he comes to a stop andI pull up next to him and roll down my windows, he says "you ready...let's go" and takes off while I'm holding my vsc button down, my buddy who was with me ( we take turns driving since he lives down the road from me) say what the he!! is he doing....so he stops and I pull up next to him again and he says...."what happened, are you scared" and I told him I was turning off my traction control and he says lets go....well I get the rpms up to about 1500 and he says go, we both spun...him a little more than me and we're off......I get a truck length on him from the start and by the time I hit 3rd I've got about 2...maybe 2 1/2 lengths on him and we stay that way until I hit the limiter at 115 and he passes me. We stop and he says "I don't know how you did that, what aren't you telling me?" I said nothing, all I've got is exhaust....and I start to turn around and he smokes his tires and heads off, I have to go back through the plant to go home and when I get up to the intersection one of my friends if on a backhoe where some guys are fixing to work on some pipe, he stops me and asks what we were doing, I tell him I just smoked Robert and he starts laughing his @ss off. He asked me what the charger had, I said it's an R/T with the hemi, he says you sure got him good.....then we haed home, he beeps me and says "your truck ain't right, somethings funny about that thing".....My friend and I laughed all the way home....oh, by the way I had 1/2 tank and my 260lb friend with me....I told him I wanted a rematch...maybe from a roll to give him a better chance.......sorry for the rant, my wife hates when I tell stories cause I like to be as accurate as possible...she always says just get to the point

Also yesterday after driving to New Orleans and back to Jax about 1,100 miles and I was 11 miles from home going the back way and at this small town I came to a red light and decided to go through the gears. I put it in 1st and when green took off until 3rd and let up because it was a 35 mph zone and let the cars catch up behind me then these 2 cops cars came out a side street and caught up to the car behind me looking at it and then pass it and put on his spotlight then his blue lights. I pulled over shut the truck off and pulled out the license and both come up in flashlights. He took my license and asked if I came through the intersection squeeling tires and if I had a 4 speed. I showed him my automatic and stated I came through the intersection but in order for me to squeel tires I have to turn off my trac control button in park. He looked puzzled and said where's my friend that was in the truck? I told him I dropped off my son to his mom's in New Orleans and I'm on way home. He says you're not a young kid. The report was two young kids in a Blue tundra squeeling tires. I said I'm going on 50 and I do appreciate you in calling me young. He looked puzzled again and I broke out LMAO. Then I showed to 2 uniform officers the way of the Tundra and Sequential shifting. I showed him how I make it sound like a 4 speed. His eyes went big and he glowed about the truck. Then he and the other officer stated don't come back tonite. I told him don't always believe what you are seeing and I left.

Haha, I caught a Sierra with a 5.3 this morning. I will say his truck sounded way better than mine, He wanted to race from a 40 roll so I obliged him....Big mistake on his part.

I'll answer every question the cop has. But I'm not going to voluntarily show them how to smoke the tires in my truck. As long as they think the nannies prevent it, then I am not the one getting pulled over for it.
