What does everyone do for a living?

Ok so there is one of these already started so disregaurd this. sorry

Im self employed and contract my services out to Oilfield companies. I basicly operate, maintain, and keep the oil and gas flowing from the oil and gas wells, i also operate gas compressor stations. I currently work for 3 different big oilfield companies. Its a good job, im always learning new things, get to be in the bush all day long with no one to around to tell me what to do. Winter is alway the hardest, dealing with freeze ups all the time, not going home for days at a time, 72hrs straight, with only little cat naps in your truck, that part sucks. But thats why i get paid the bucks, right?

yea right.

I work as a Telecommunication/ Structural engineer and designer for Verizon, Sprint/ Nextel. I take part in designing and setting up communication sites on the Mid Atlantic region.

On the weekends I have a small business building ponds/ water features. It is a nice change of pace from the old 9 to 5er.
