I took off the tailgate and this wasn't the problem...nor was it the tailgate piston. Also took down the spare tire and this wasn't it. The service bozos hear it but "can't find it". I'm about to conclude that it is a leaf spring and/or a shock. Thing I'll take it to another dealer...see if they can find it. |

Ride in the back while someone else drives. Or ride in a car next to your truck if the sound is from underneath.
