Question need to daytime running headlight mod

Have a 2007 Tundra bought from the USA, need to mod the headlights to run in the daytime. Anyone know what wires to use.
Thanks.

Have a SR5 or a Limited? You could just leave the head lights on all the time.. They will turn off 30 sec after turning off / locking up the truck.

As a fellow canuck, I couldn't help but notice that the "daytime running lights" on my truck, purchased in Canada, are actually the park lights (or whatever term they're using for the outer lights), they are not the headlights. I was wondering if mine was faulty, then I started noticing the other Tundra's in town, and they are the same. Just thought you should know.

Another Canuck here...

Its because amber is very easy to see and stands out more than "white" headlights. I can spot another Tundra a mile away.... literally.

I agree with you Dale124 . My American bought Tundra has the amber running (front) lights on at all times during engine operation too. And as you pointed out, it seems that "all" Tundras are wired this way. They are. Many minivans have similar running amber lamps. The wiring is normal as per DOT regulation.

Attached is a PDF file which you can use to enable your DRL using the Turn signal lights the way the factory has them set up. Hope this helps you out.

I hate having my lights on all the time anyway, and I think that this looks a lot cooler, and if you notice how good you can see them from such a long distance for safety.
