Arrow How Much Should I Offer?

Local Dealer has a 2008 Crewmax Limited 4x4 with PC stage 2 lift, 325/60/20 Terra Grapplers on black Moto Metal wheels. Also has TRD intake and catback. Sticker says they want $59,000

Here's the deal..... Its been on their lot for like 8 months and they really want to unload it. The GM told me to make an offer, he wants it outta there!

I'm seriously interested in this truck. What do you guys think I should offer them? Anybody purchased one like this recently? Any dealers around your area have a similar truck? If so, how much they asking?

Thanks in advance for your opinions or suggestions!

Check the blue book. The mods should not make much of a difference.
With those mods I assume the truck is used.

I'd start at 40k OTD, expect it to go up to 45k OTD but I wouldn't give them a penny more. If they won't play, tell them you will be back in a couple months when gas is $5, to discuss it again.

Just may do that. This truck is sweet! The only thing I don't like is the beige leather and carpet.

As long as you are well aware that once you pay 40 - 45K that you couldn't get out of it for ANY money, even if you have to, go for it.

Once you own it, I seriously doubt you could get 30K for it.

While huge, fuel sponges are at bargain basement prices right now, don't be so short-sighted that you aren't looking at the big picture.

Unless, of course, your disposable income easily supports the loss.

Cheers,

Bob

Yeah I'm probably looking at losing a few mpg's on this truck, this I know. Not so much worried about what I'll get in resale. I plan on keeping the truck for a while, unless fuel hits $10.00/gal

that lift and set up would run about $6,000 to do all that stuff aftermarket on your own. i would have them sell you the truck for the sticker price for the truck only. and have them throw in all the extra for free.

Yup, exactly. Why not just add that stuff to your truck?
