Finally Got To Paint My Calipers

Today Is The First Time I Finally Had Time To Do Some Work To My Truck In Months! I Painted The Calipers Today Which Took like 4 Hours In 99 Degree Weather (almost Passed out) but it is finally done and it looks pretty damn good on my blue streak metallic (the calipers are red) I'll have pics up in just a little while need some food fresh air and show off a little i'll be bak with pics so all you guys lay and wait til i come bak don't be tooo ancious i know *** is lol

did you use the hi temp ceramic paint? also, did you first scrub the calipers with paint thinner or did you just paint over the dirt.... ive been thinkin about doing this too.

I cleaned mine with a wet rag and rubbing alcohol, then used Krylon acrylic latex enamel applied with a 1" wide sponge brush. Works for me.

My buddy used the same paint on his calipers and it didn't hold up to the heat very well. Lasted about a month before it started to bubble and flake. Hopefully, you'll have better luck.

These calipers get damned hot, so it's best to use dedicated caliper paint or other hi-temp product.

Here's The Pics I Used Brake Cleaner For The Calipers Then Scuffed It With A Scotch Pad It Was Very Easy But Took A Long Time Because I Did One Wheel At A Time And Only Had The Truck Jack It Was Freaking HOTTTT But Here Are The Pics
