Wet Seatbelt

This is my first post ever on a forum(dont like to type). I come here a lot to just read. Well i got my new truck a little over a month ago and love it. I have 900 miles on it so far. Yesterday we had a storm come through and when i went to use the seatbelt, the part that is coiled up inside was very wet(wet enough to feel through the shirt i was wearing), no other belts were wet. Has anybody seen this before. The only thing i could think of was the seal beetween the 2 doors.(its a crewmax). No windows were open, or the sunroof . Nothing inside was wet at all. I dont drive my truck to work(justs sits at home all day). I drive a work van(plumber).

Wow for a guy that doesn't like to write you sure wrote up a storm! Welcome to the forum! I gotta say as a plumber you should know how to trace a leak, but if I were you I would take it to the dealer and have them check it. Beautiful truck BTW!

Nice for a "CHUBBY MAN" (CM) truck. Welcome and good luck with that.

Wet seat belts... That's a new one. Sure the window wasn't open a crack and water leaked in?

Maybe door seal was bad/installed wrong. Have the dealer check it out.

Congrats on the CM, good stuff.

Shouldn't be upset at yourself. The truck shouldn't scratch that easy.

Did it scratch it to the primer?
