wheels and tire

i just bought a 2000 tundra that can use some new tires. Somebody is selling a set of 245/75/16 tires and wheels that came off 2008 Tundra.

Will the rims (6 lugs) would fit exactly to my 2000 Tundra ? Please give me some feedback asap because these tires sounds like a really good deal but I don't want to drive 150 miles if it doesn't fit.

Bob, I'll give you a straight answer. They will fit. First generation Tundras have a different bolt pattern from the new Tundra's. Buy them!

my 2000 tundra which I gotten 3 days ago has 6 lugs with 245/70/16 mounted. The tires that i saw posted has 6 lugs with 245/75/16.

tirerack has recommended 245/70/16 for the 2000 tundra. The tires he's selling is 245/75/16. Will these difference make a big deal on handling/ride?

Sorry Bob I misread your post and thought you bought a 2008 tundra. The wheels will fit and you should feel very little difference in handling.

Thanks for all that reply and pointed me in the right direction. I got hold of the owner and its a misprint - the 4 tires came out of a 08 tacoma.
