Crew Cab tool box options?

Here's a question for you Crew Cab guys: What tool box options have you seen?

I am trying to find the happy medium between having a tool box and still being able to take full advantage of the power rear window.

Pictures would be greatly appreciated!

Don't have one but seen one here in Jax. He had what looked like aluminum with diamond plating box that c clamped to the truck.

Any one have this one? It's the Weather Guard Low Profile Aluminum Saddle Box:

Here's the same box on Weather Guard's site: WEATHER GUARD Saddle Truck Tool Boxes

Pony,

Thanks for posting the pics. I think that box would just kill my bed space. What kinds of things can you fit in your bed now that the box is in? If my math is right, your box leaves 38.5" of free space. Eeek! Maybe I need to look into other tool storage options.

Thanks again for the pics, Pony. Very helpful.

I fit under my rear seat 120 craftsman tool box with tow rope and 5 straps and a very heavy duty jumper cables. Once I get my brand new craftsman floor jack will fit also along with a small 2x4.

I bought the truck to haul my horse trailer, so bed space wasn't really a consideration when I bought the tool chest.
You have the same space underneath the chest.
If I ever wanted to haul more than a few bails of hay or a cord of wood I use one of the trailers.
I rarely use the truck bed. This is the most I have ever put in the bed of the truck :

Mickey, Pony, thanks. You guys are awesome. The pictures help so much -- I'm a visual person!

Any other Crew Cab guys out there who can chime in? I want to know what you can and can't fit in the bed when you have a tool box. Or, how much stuff can you fit underneath the seats in the cab?

Remember your back seat adjusts up 11 inches. Your seats can also be set up to make room behind them. That's what I do.

This is a very low profile one from Creative Industries. About $600. They have one sized for the Tundra.

The third (black diamond plate) one is UWS and they have a low profile one too which I just bought ($300). It sticks up about 2" above the bed.

I like the idea of that antenna mounted on the side of your truck box right next to the tool box Ponyuk! Is it for a CB or radio? It's out of the way and looks real neat. Any info?
