Houston Texas mpg modifications saving Houstonians big at the gas tank

I'll hopefully have the tundra test up soon.
Let us know if it works!

Tonneau

I added the Tonneau to my Tundra because I noticed in my Tacoma that the noise level was less. I probably did not need it on the Tundra but I like the convenience of covering things up in the rain.

I just got 19.4 MPG calculated on a long road trip with mostly highway, but some city driving mixed in. Average highway speed was around 70-80mph most of the time.
The truck barely has 1500 miles on it too- I expect the figure will improve as it runs in more

I don't know if my tonneau helped- I never took it on a long highway trip before I got it.

I have the trifecta folding cover that Toyota sells. I have approx. four months of data now and it is clear that the tonneau reduces gas mileage by a couple of mi/gal. Also I noticed that the mileage with the tonneau cover on was more consistent than when it is off. When the cover is off the mileage goes up and down as much as 5-6 mi/gal depending on the driving. With the cover on it seems to stay within a range of 1 mi/gal.

Thumbs up Awesome tonneau cover

Hey everyone I got this awesome tonneau cover By Pace Edwards. It rolls up in to a canister in the front of the bed taking up only a little bit of room. On Pace Edwards website it decreases drag 11.81% to me that means more fuel mileage also it all my stuff dry and secure. I bought my cover at Shop Now | Truck Accessory Place

I may be doing this wrong, but I can't find any test data. It's just a flashy ad trying to sell me something. Could it be that someone is trying to drive customers to a web site?
