Invoice Price

Hey Guys,
I'm a newbie, and I ordered a 2008 Double Cab exactly the way I wanted it from the dealer. The deal was Invoice + any incentives at the time. Well, the truck arrived and added to the invoice price (which matches the price on the Kelly blue book site) are some extra fees. 1) $10 for gas. 2) $650 for TDA (Toyota Dealer advertising). 3) $225 for the "floor plan" 4) $640 for Dealer Holdback. The dealer says theses are part of the invoice price, the figures are just broken out by Toyota and not listed on the Kbb site. Are these charges normal? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Looks like $1500 + of ADP.........Additional Dealer Profit. Offer $350-$500 over invoice after subtracting rebates.

I ordered my 08 Tundra Double Cab 5.7 SR5 etc my OTD price after rebates TTL and all other fees was $26,6 I hope that helps, if the dealer is jerking you around just tell them what you will pay OTD and let them decide, but you might take your offer to other dealers just to see how it stacks up.

Invoice price is such an arbitrary number, why use it? It doesn't represent the dealers cost nor does it represent anything now days.

Way back when the invoice was sort of like the wholesale price. When people started getting accesss to "insider info" like the invoice price and using it to deal on - the whole profit/pricing structure changed and they started building more profit into the invoice price.

Today invoice price doesn't mean much - what is important is what others are getting their truck for.
