ok guys, i found this on another tundra forum. it is FANTASTIC. in fact i am so excited about it, i felt inclined to post it on this forum.
He used Y pipes to divert the exhaust system away from the cats. For now the exhaust is permanently shifted away from the cats, but he's putting some insane electronic servo or what not that is remote controlled and activates/deactivates the Cats! Yep...been around for a long time. I had them on my '89 Mustang 5.0 when I was in high school/college back about 18yrs ago. Pretty cool when you're young and stupid. They quickly lose their appeal once you grow up, though.
