when in Africa, do as the Africans do...

How will you get tires and wheels that fit?...and the oil filter-ELEMENT? Freaky wiper blades? How-bout real skidplates? The lions will ruin your paint Unless you're looking for a new neurotic hobby, leave that Tundra where it can find parts and support. I think there's a big difference in the cruising range between Tundra and LR...or did you just want to prowl the village for nubile maidens

There are people with Tundras in Europe, the Middle-East, and Russia. They can't get local service on their trucks and are doing fine with them over there. Sparks said they ship over seas so getting oil filters is easy. The mark-up in the original price would include shipping and taxes. Plus it's a rare vehicle there so that might explain the higher price. But that truck is clearly NOT a 4x4 truck.

I'd imagine that it be just fine overseas with a Tundra.,,,,,,that is I'm not sure I'd recommend it for a work truck overseas, or scampering well out in the bush for days with it..... But figure it's reliable a plenty for general transport and well..... with the falling dollar, cost of filters, wiper blades and such are relatively reasonable to order in from the states.

Does the truck have more white stripes than black stripes, or, more black stripes than white stripes? I'm sure Ramoine will count them and gives us a statistical break down of each body part. HAHAHAHA!!!

Ok guys, I really need your help. I decided to take the risk and get the Tundra to the lions Continent
The question is this: is it, or is not a 4x4???? Toyota sales guy told me again itīs a 4x4, friend of mine who google the VIN told me itīs a 4x4, but you all pro owners (and much trustfull ) are telling me itīs not a 4x4
Have to make the Bank transfer tilll next Thursday...I really canīt understand how a official Toyota dealer can tell me that itīs a 4x4 car when itīs not!!!! Car in the picture is the car for sale, so itīs not a question of a wrong picture.

Is there anyone who can google again the VIN number and see if itīs a 4x4?
I would aprecciated. Thanks in advance

Hereīs the link for the technical specifications and pics of the beautiful blue beast.
Northshore Toyota Scion.

Here is the proof that the truck is NOT 4x4.

The yellow arrow pointing to the yellow circle is around what would be the switch to put it into 4x4. It's not there, but instead is a coin holder.
