Talking considering it

im considering the lift. its just so dang expensive. 1500 just for the parts, and then another grand to have it installed. plus it doesn't end there. then i have to get new wheels and big 35" tires. honestly the total cost to do the job right is in the 4500 range. i would love to lift it up high enough to knock out red lights at intersections. for now im going with a level kit. as for the comment about being a poser..... lifting your truck doesn't make you a poser. its no different than people lowering their cars and putting 22" chrome wheels. the truck seriously looks monsterous. it looks sick. of COURSE its not practical for me at least, i live in LA, there aren't any good off road trails around here anyway. butt fuck traffic on sunset blvd doesn't require a lift, but there's no denying that it looks flippin SICK. just my two cents.

all i want for christmas is a 6" pro comp lift.

I don't have much use for a lift, although I do have to admit I like the look of the ToyTech 3+1 on ramoine's truck. For the most part lifts seem silly to me, it's not like you're actually gaining any ground clearance. And the cons are adding up much faster than the pros. So, I'm with Mickey on this one. Oh and on the Leather too. Limited all the way
Of course, DCs are still the BEST in my book

Why isn't your Tundra lifted yet?

Well let's see, there is the $6000 heating/air cond. repair on the house, I've got 3 giant trees that have to go ($1700) before they destroy the new $8000 roof I just put on the house, and my kids are eating so much of this price inflated food I can't get to the store fast enough. Oh, not to mention it costs me $80 a week to keep the Tundra running.

Enough bitching. When I do get the extra money I'll be replacing the suspension with an OME kit.

DEZ I tried to lift my truck but it didn't amount to much. Damn my back hurts on that one. For a one inch lift it lasted only 5 minutes and it only lifted on one side. I guess I'll go back and get another cup of coffee.

My neighbor works for Bud and I get a case of Ultra every month at no cost. In return I give him a roll of new state quarters when they come out for his collection.
