The Tundra rear is an open diff, if the traction control system notices wheelspin it will decrease throttle and apply brake to the spinning wheel to transfer powerto the wheel getting traction. You can turn off the throttle pull back by hitting the button once and turning on only the Auto LSD. You can turn off the Auto LSD by holding the button down for three seconds. In a 4wd you can only turn off the Auto LSD in 4wd, no "one wheel peels" in a 4wd

That's where I get lost. An open differential won't transfer power to the other tire....but somehow the tundra does, whether it be from the brake or some other force of nature. This rear end is just so confusing!!

Thats true...but in the end result isnt it doing the same thing as a limited slip? I've been told it does and does it better!

ramoine -- did your truck feel weird after that burnout? How fast did you get the tires going? I did that once, up to 4th gear and had a weird scrubbing when turning after that. It lasted about 1 minute. I saw another post on here, where the guy had to reflash his vsc computer???????

If someone doesn't mind, can you give a basic details of what happens with those 2 buttons (RSCA Off, and the car with the swigily lines), when you activate them seperately as well as together. What do they change on your truck and when is a good time to use them. I have read through the manual a few times and it still doesn't make sense.
