...'96 T-100 or '95 Chevy diesel???

...I am considering purchasing a 1996 T-100 with 144k miles that appears to be in real good shape. This will be a long distance purchase so I need to know what to be aware of and how much I need in reserve for probable issues/necessary repairs.

...I know this a Tundra forum, but I am also considering a 1995 Chevy 6.5 turbo diesel that is also in real nice shape. Which would you recommend and why?

...thanks!

...as oppossed to where?

...being that the "T-100" was essentially the 1st generation Tundra, I thought those who were familar with Tundras would be helpful.
