Well, it was either that or buying a tank of gas and a few days worth of groceries that made you broke.

Nice truck you have definitely made it your own. I noticed that it was a v6 what king of gas mileage do you average.

You know, you are right about the gas. That would have pushed me over! Instead of buying a few days of groceries, however, I opted for a case of regular cheese Kraft dinner. Not bad actually when you mix it in with some of my Lab's kibble.

I was getting 13.5 m/gal. when I first bought the truck. Not very impressive. On engine inspection, the air intake filter wasn't that clean and replaced it with a new Toyota filter.I also changed the cabin filter. Dropped the oil charge and replaced it with Mobil 1 full Syn. and a Toyota oil filter. Rebalanced and rotated the gummies and corrected inflation pressure when mounted. Getting close to 15-17 m/gal. now. Have other options to tweak to get optimum milage.

Thats cool the 4.0 would definitely keep me out of the trouble that the 5.7 is going get me into.

How do you like the black interior so far? My wife's Maxima has it and it is pretty nice. Never had it in a truck though.

Thanks. As everyone knows the key really is in driving habits and "minor " maintenance . The increase in gas prices doesn't help though.
