crewmax because i like tuna sandwiches in my truck .. i like to roll down the rear window .. i prefer to drive a truck that looks good

(if the d-cab was better, toyota would have charged more for it)

I dont understand all of you DC'ers are saying there is so much room in the back seat its really not that roomy but by any means is it small but its not that roomy and i do think the cab in the CM is a little big but i like it i could sleep in it if i wanted to haha just saying

Double Cab of course...there isn't enough room here to list all the reasons but here's one: I need the bed space to fit these

you don't seriously think I could fit them into one of those tiny Crew Max beds, now do you??

Double cab for the bed length, no need for the extra room just enuff room for a car seat, and it looks meaner IMO but thats just me. no need for a battle on looks its personal pref.

DC for me cause it plenty to fit my needs and wants. I like them both, but I do need the bigger bed over the bigger rear seats.

i guess i shouldnt really take offense to the fact that the d-cab's are winning .. you guys all went out and bought a "lesser" truck, lesser as in cost and lesser as in room and features ... id be more than happy to see nothing but d-cabs on the road to know i stand out in a crowd

and all of you guys are going to change your mind as soon as they release the crewmax with the 6.5 bed

And it is coming! But anyway I thought this poll was for the ugliest truck with the most wasted use of cab space? Thats why I voted DC?! ; )

YES i think you could have fit it in the crewmax bed .. you have a bed extender that shortens your bed about a foot when the tailgate is closed and those animals fit perfect .. so id say a crewmax bed without a bed extender would be perfect!

This is a True Story: I live within 10 miles of one of the largest toyota dealers in the Country (Longo Toyota) and I have a friend that is in "fleet sales" there so I was able to order the truck at the earliest possible date. Two weeks went by and I got a call from him saying that in two months they were gonna have a Crew Cab version delivered. I was so geeked up about the news I said "Then that's what I want, the Crew Cab". 4 weeks later I got a call at work saying my new Mica Jade Green CrewMax was on the lot. I bolted straight to the dealer and as I pulled up I could see a croud gathered around a vehicle. It was my Crew Max. As I started walking twards the group they parted and I got my first good look at it, my heart litteraly sunk when I saw the size of the bed. I walked straight up to it and could reach my arms from one end of the bed to the other. I stepped back again, looked at it, and said to myself, "Not Enough Truck Here". I ran right into my Buddy and before I could say anything he said "You want the Double Cab don't you?" Yup! Don't get me wrong I love all the versions of the Tundra's but the CM just wasn't enough truck for me. Trust me when you use the bed for what I use it for, and I'm sure there a lot of DC owners that will agree, the difference is huge. D.C.T.T.F.F !

Not enuf bed for you is what you mean...cause CM is 10x the truck EVERYWHERE else. And like we've talked about b4 you have to have your tailgate down too for most your transporting just like a CM would (we are only talking 1 foot). Bed extenders for all of us!

I got a DC with a long bed, only reason, is because the wife gets crazy sometimes and wants to buy the whole funiture store, and I needed more space in the rear, but with the CM WOW!!! there is alot of room in the back, do you guys have n e idea what can be done back there ??????????????? with some limo tint and a curtain. i've tried my luck in my car, but a CM would sure come in handy.

If I wanted no bed, and that much cabin space, I would have bought a minivan

DC all the way

CM: I wanted the biggest cab, the moonroof and the power rear window.
I bought the Tundra to haul my horse trailer. I have no use for the bed (anything I can haul in the bed for my horses is easier to haul in the trailer). The bed is a waste of space, I added a big chest toolbox to utilize some of this wasted space. I would have bought a topper had I not thought they make your truck look like an oversized SUV (or minivan Davey )
