changing factory driving lights

Hey guys. Any of you change out your factory driving lights (the ones in the bumper) with anything else? i.e. Piaa, Hella. I live in the country and I could use a little more light to help with deer popping out to take a look at my truck.

What about changing out all the factory bulbs to HID, Super whites, etc.?

Thanks for the help.

went on e-bay and ordered the "bling lites", they came in and look good quality with metel housings and thick glass lens. Added clear latex stone guard(like mac-tac) and swapped out bulbs for PIAs. cost under 100 bucks total and burns retinas of oncoming when air bags deflated under 15#s.

Hey Lunch, some of the other guys shot down the bling lites when I posted the ebay link but to me they didn't look too bad for the price. Sounds like you put together a nice little combo bro. Got any pics?

I upgraded mine to Sylvania Silver Stars (Model# 9145ST). Not too expensive and they throw about 50% more light than the factory bulbs.

Right now I use Halo's. I'll probably go back to HID's. I only have HID's in my fogs.
