Road Rage, always a lose-lose situation. It sucks, but that's the way it is. Your word against theirs-no winners and in todays world, you take the chance of running into some wack job that escalates to much more drastic measures than you are willing to. Are you really willing to give your life over some bullshit traffic dispute? Seriously, it can escalate to this scenario very quickly and if you think it can't happen to you, oh well. The LEO's are just the mop up crew, because by the time they get there, it's likely all over.

We had a Doctor do road rage on a woman and ended up killing her by running her off the road and hitting the guard rail on the bridge. This you don't need. Simple take a couple of deep breaths and release. Persoanlly I try to tune people out by putting the music up to 30 and just go. Yes you come across the grreat one in the inside lane doing 60 in a 70mph zone. They don't read the signs slower traffic keep right. I tend to point to it when that happens to me as I get around them.
Good story Mick... thanks! Creating death would be something that I could not live with. I will try to keep that one in the back of my mind.

I learned the hard way now i jus ease off or swear a little and let off some steam and get on with life don't wanna risk your own over something stupid like advpilot said

Yeah... I have to adimit.... I have road a couple of peoples bumpers. After it was all said and done... then... then I said that it was stupid. It is hard though... these young kids and their cell phone and not paying any attention.. Then you have those people that are so stupid they shouldn't even ride in the passenger seat....

I agree and definitely don't like cell phone drivers. I move away when I see it. Even if it's to slow down.

I drive fairly slowly. I am in no rush to get places, I am always watching my mirrors but if someone really pisses me off or is tail-gating me I just give them a taste of my "Train Horns". It is just karma back at them. If I drive to slowly go around me. I don't really get angry that much you would have to like pull out of a driveway when I'm doing like 40mph and make me slam the brakes to make me use it. Other than that its hardly used.

Yeah... the cell phone is pretty evil while driving. A couple of weeks ago... I was a witness to a young girl texting while driving... she ass ended this guy at the light doing 30 mph... I felt so sorry for the guy... the girl walked away.. the guy... not so lucky...didn't die.. but was taken way in the ambulance.

So do I because I've been on both sides of it, good and bad. As for bad Karma, these days I consider myself a little wiser from the lessons I've learned and I don't escalate things by letting my temper get the better of me in road rage situations. All that does is invite bad Karma to turn around and swing back in my direction.

Yeah... I have driven in SLC, and my hat is off to you. When they were doing all of that construction for the Olympics, it was crazy down there...

Train Horns & Train Horn Kits By HornBlasters, The Name In Locomotive Horn Kits For Your Car Or Truck!

I believe he's talking about these...they are big in Florida. They have been known to cause heart attacks and cause wrecks. There's some pretty funny video there, but I wouldn't advocate using them.

You can use them here but if you are caught using them for pleasure or whatever they will nail you for it.

One word goes quite far in avoiding much of it - anticipate. Learn it! Use it... make it part of your brain.

As for the tailgating dilemma, just move aside if possible. We've all been in a hurry, it could be legitimate... even if not, It's not your job to slow this person down..
