Laps For Charity May 24, 2008 Houston to Dallas - TundraTalk.net

I already had a thread up about this and didnt get much response from the Houston guys last time. Here I go again, the laps for charity event is going to be three laps around the Texas motor speedway, 30 dollars for the three laps and 10 dollars to get a picture taken of your truck in victory lane, all proceeds go to charity and afterwards we will head out to the 1/4 mile track. There will be a convoy meeting up at the Hooters on 1960 at 8:30 in the morning and then we will be heading up to Dallas. Let me know and I will start a list. Its gonna be fun guys so lets get a group going and head up there!

I have no idea, the guys im rolling with said its like 20 minutes away. Are you gonna be there?

Sounds like a lot of fun to me! Thats a nice little drive but I really want to go. I'll see if I can work something out. Is this a Tundra only event or can I bring a few non Tundra friends alone? lol

Bring whoever you want, most of the guys in the convoy are dodge guys, the events for anyone.

this sounds like and for a good cause, wish they did something like this at California Speedway, I would be there in a heartbeat

Im getting a hotel there in dallas, If you go to the track you may be there late so I would plan on staying the night. If you want to drive back you can though. We will be in a convoy with alot of other trucks though so the drive there will be fun, and probably interesting if you catch my drift!

So far we have a maybe from 2 guys, looks like bust to me! Oh well guess i will be the lone wolf with the Dodge guys.
