Ok so heres good info on anyone interested in an intake for their 5.7 v8 tundra. A lot of people on here know that you can get it at a great price off of autoanything.com.

Heres what you may not know!

If you call them at their 800 number and ask to use a expired coupon they will let you even though their website wont!

If you give them the coupon code "speed" that will get you free shipping and 10% off! I just paid $335 for the intake shipped to my door!!!

ok new info. I called them today and told them to match price with performance warehouse. Got me another $7.41 off.

Way to go Red. I'm not into Volant but that's a good deal. Instead of an AFE I should've went with TRD.

I was on a volant website and I thought I was ordering a Volant. What came in supprised me. I got an AFE. I retrace my steps and I was on the volant website and I punched in the lowest price and low and behold I didn't see AFE and that's what came. The reason for TRD just in case I go with a supercharger the TRD will go with it.

What is benefit of cold air intake? Will it still work in 90 degree tropic climate? I would consider if it increases mpg average. I have heard of Volant, K and N, TRD and AFE. Which is the best? Thanks.

I think they all about the same. If I was to say I would go with TRD being it's toyota and they recommend it. Now that said TRD also recommends Volant as a cheaper alternative. Yes I still got 22.5 mph @60mph. This is at any temp so far. The lowest was 29 and the highest was 101. Afe doesn't require oil mist on it. Afe has a lifetime guarantee. K&N is pretty good also but most of them require oil for the filter.
