First Oil Change

Hey guys i have owned my 07 Tundra going on 7 months. I have only put 4400 miles on it. Yeah I dont drive the truck except for hauling things. I got a 4cly for regular driving. Anyways, I know the manual says replace oil every 5k miles? Is it 5k miles or every 3 months? I hope not...lol. The truck hardly ever gets driven hard and my loads are not heavy. THink i can wait another 600 miles to change the oil or is 7ish months enough to change it??

I changed the oil on my first gen Tundra every 3000 miles religiously and that thing ran like a top for 180,000 miles with zero problems. When it was sold it started and sounded like the day I drove it off the lot new. I'm doing the same with my 07!

I don't think so, I think the actual mileage is the only concern. Dealers like to tell you "every so many miles or so many months" witch in my opinion is to just keep a steady flow of oil changes comming into the dealer.

5,000 miles and it's more than 3 months I think it's either 4 or 5 months. I have to check my sticker. Also I changed mine at 4,975 miles. I use synthetic. It came with it so I keep on using it.
