The Crewmax has the glass. The DC doesn't I believe because the way the cab is shaped doesn't allow the glass to drop.

Push button start and LED/HID headlights would be an improvement to the tech. A refresh to the JBL system wouldn't hurt anyone either. Toyota always feels 5 years behind GM/Ford on creature comfort tech.

Whatever Toyota does with the engine and transmission I'm sure will be fine, they've always built bulletproof drivetrains.
I don't see them offering order options. They are conservative and save money are efficient by streamlining production. They seem to slash options if anything.

Why even offer a 5'6" crewmax bed. Streamline it to 6'6" when/if they increase the payload to allow this to happen without having to drop the current payload to 800 LBS

Functionally, many people buy a Crewmax because they have kids.
Having kids in carseats doesn't allow reasonable access to aftermarket storage under the new lift up seats in the rear.
If they don't bring back reclining seats, they should at least lift the seats up on legs so you can toss emergency items under there (ie. jumper cables, rope, gloves, tow straps, etc).

I would think this would be the cheapest and most common sense alternative.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did offer a CM with a longer bed because of the new "footprint" rules for fuel mileage. The bigger the footprint, the more gas a vehicle is allowed to use. They could easily make a CM with a 7' bed that would match up to the existing DCLB frame.

07' SR5 DC, 5.7, TRD
Toyota SS steps, ARE MX cap
AMP bed step, DIY underseat storage
Weathertech Floor Liners, Weathertech Vent Visors
Cooper Discoverer AT3s, Techstream

That would be a long truck, but if that came in a 6-seater I would seriously have to consider it.
Good thing my current truck doesn't have my wife's name on the title.

I could come home after work with a new truck and be like and all she could do is

Any word on a diesel engine? The Nissan Titan has one. I'd love to have a Tundra diesel!

What are the stress marks from?
Is your tundra giving birth to Tacoma's?

I don't actually think any of my interior panels have problems...i'll have to take a closer look.

Haha! I only have a few of the stress marks. Mainly on the driver kick panel from taking it off. I've seen others with them much worse. But in the right light I can see several shades of "black".

I must have a unicorn or maybe the plastics got contracted to a lower cost supplier (mine's a 2010).
Other than some dirt scuff marks my interior seems to still match nicely.

I don't clean with chemicals, just use a damp rag or a swiffer if anything at all.
