New to forum, new to Tundra!!!

I did it. Took me 3 months and I finally came home with a Tundra today. I haven't had a truck payment in 4 years, so it was hard to take that step.

I got an '08 SR5 CrewMax 5.7, dark Gray metallic, cloth bucket seats, fog lights, spray in bedliner ..... and lots of standard stuff. I really did not go for a ton of options. There are some things I'll add myself (Nerf Bar, stereo system, upgraded rims, etc). But I wanted to buy a low key truck, as far as bells and whistles go. I found that far from true, as it is loaded with bells and whistles as standard items. I pushed one button and my rear window rolled down. How cool is that??

Anyhow, just FYI, I gave $27000 for it. I felt like I got a decent deal on a crewmax. (yes?/ no? - although it doesn't really matter now!) And I loved the drive home! I only hope that 14 MPG goes up over time.

I'll take pics tomorrow. Tonight I was so excited I had to tell someone!!!

Yay for me! An early birthday present. Now everyone sing ... "Happy birth .... you know the rest)
