Lifted Tundra too big for my garage?? pics

Well it was tight but it does fit. The Tundra is right about 83 inches tall and my garage is about 85. I tucked the side mirrors in but that wasn’t necessary either. This was just a test though, it is not my Tundra. Mine is on order and will probably be here around the first week of April, so they say.

Some of the specs of this dealer Tundra: It has 35 x 12.5 x 20 Toyo M/T’s with KMC Hoss XD’s which are the same color as the Tundra Pyrite Mica. Kind of cool though. It has a 6" lift the salesman did not know what type of lift it was, but it stands right about 46” from pavement to top of the wheel well. They are asking an extra $8,000 for the wheels and lift! Seems way high as I know I can get the tire/wheel combo for around $3300. But I guess if you want the dealership to warrant that large of a lift then you pay a premium.

Total price was $42000 and this was a very stock model.

Thought you all might enjoy seeing the pics.

Not a goldy fan myself. Wheels in that color would be cool on my black one though

Looks good. 8k for the wheels, tires, and lift from the dealer is not that bad. Looking at just doing little leveling kit then 35's on 20's perhaps.

Looks great I'm sure you crawled into the garage with a spotter. Mine barely fits.

If only they put sensors on the roof to know if you could fit or not. I was worried about fitting in my garage with my stock suspension.

Yea, I had my spotter in the garage as I inched my way in, I didn't want to take any chances especially with a dealer rig. Once in I only have about 8 inches in front and 3 inches in back clearance. But at least it will be indoors, that is the main thing.

When I remodel my house I'm going to make sure that my new garage will be able to accommodate a lifted truck, jetski, and wife's car. Houses these day were never designed for all the toys and junk we buy.

Mine won't come anywhere near fitting in my garage or any other garage. As it is I had to raise the redwood carport I just built 5 inches and then I have to fold in those monster tow package mirrors.:eek
