$3.05 to $3.15 this past week in Ohio. Generally it's around $2.95 - $2.99. That's for 87 octane. $60.00 usually fills the tank if close to empty. Not too bad for general driving. But when I'm towing, the hole in my pockets is huge! I told my wife if gas went back to $2.25 a gallon (which at one time was outrageous) I would buy her a new Sequoia. Wishful thinking at this point. Can't justify two gas hogs in the garage!

Yeah, I remember seeing a receipt in one of the books for gas at Amoco before they switched it to BP and gas was $0.97 a gallon. It cost like $30 to fill up a Ford Expedition with a tank that would get easily 300 miles in city driving at 10 mpg. My tank barely nets me 230-250 before my low fuel light comes on That all has to do with the excessive weight I'm always carrying around in tires and the grille guard, not to mention the very close city driving I do, normally around a mile or less. -rockstate |

Plenty of places to go... to the beach, hula shows, bars, gentlemens clubs, etc. occasionally we'll go to work as well....
Plenty of place to go on an island. You should check it out and bring the family down to Hawaii for vacation. Actually the stop and go traffic in town is the killer... ![]()

In Europe gas is more expensive. However they do drive nearly as much as we do in this country ! Especially in the Western states.

Toyotas like to keep a few gallons in reserve. I could drive around for another day when the light came on in my little POS corolla. Mine is a 24 gallon and holds about 2 gallons once the light comes on.
