just got back and it turned out great, looks awesome. we ended up putting 5% on the back sliding window over the factory tint. then we put 20% on top of the factory tint on the dbl windows and put 5% of the front windows. the back windows with the 20% on top of the factory tint measured 6% on the tint gauge meter and the 5% on the front windows actually read 7% on the meter. the tint guy said the tint will get darker to it's darkest color within a week leaving the truck in the sun as much as possible.

My windshield is tinted and I have no issues with the rain. I have no idea what that guy is talking about. The only issue I have with it is that when the car stereo place installed my tweeters they scratched the tint.

The factory rear windows are 20% but have the black edges to make it look darker. If you go 15% in the front, and cover the back with 20% you'll be happy. Watch the factory is a black tint, they make smoke which will not match. Also if you go 5% you will not be able to see in unless right at the window, and at night you will have trouble seeing out. Cost me $12 to tint my windows myself and don't have to worry about some guy knifing up all the weatherstriping, some of you know what I'm talking about.
