2007 4.7 Transmission
Is anyone experiencing any transmission issues with the 4.7 Transmission? I have a 2007 4.7 4x2 SR5 DC with just over 2,000 miles. The shifting between 1st and 2nd does not seem to be as smooth as the others...instead of a clean engagement into 2nd, it seems as if there are 3 rapid attempts before engaging (almost like a shuttering). It is so quick and subtle that sometimes I don't even notice it. I have taken it to the dealer twice (just being cautious) and as expected, they have "felt" nothing. Of course it is under warranty so at least I have that to fall back on if things were to get worse in the next few years.

I have over 25,000 miles on mine and have not had any issues. I have done plenty of towing in that time and so far everything is ok.

I just responed cuz of ur name quickbusa. I had an 01 Busa with power commander, D &D pipes, K&N filter, and could not get that bike in the 9s. My buddies said it was because I am 260lbs. I could run 10.2 s all day long at 140mph. Well I was getting beat by 1000s, so I purchased the least popular one. I bought a CBR1000RR, put full akropovic exhaust with a power commander, and ran 9.8 @ 147 mph. Whats your take on these 1000s compared to the busa and zx14?
