I had an 03 Sequoia with a 4.7. Pulled my 21 foot boat (5K) as fast as I wanted to go. Avg 9Mpg, but the motor was fine.
The Sequoia was probably as heavy as the Tundra.

does the 4.7 have a tranny cooler? if not, adding one would really help the life of your tranny. other than that, staying under the stated trailer capacity shouldn't be a problem!
