gear grind sound after start up.

I'm getting a gear grinding sound after I start the engine, the nights out here get to about the low 30s so usually in the morning I go out, and start the truck so it can warm up before I go to work, but lately I'm getting a short gear grind sound about 5-10 seconds after i start the engine, has anyone heared this noise before, and should I worry about it?? I've got the 5.7L with 11k miles, and 0 miles towing for now.

It sounds kind of like an air chirp? If so that's normal It's in the owner's manual around page 229. Says something about VSC checking itself making that suction noise.

I hear that same noise. When I start my truck I will let it run for a minute or two then the sound goes away.

the sound is just for a second, it sounds like when you remote start it, and you put the key in and turn it to far, making it grind.
