Sport Pedals...WTF

Ok this is going to sound stupid but I bought the Sports pedals that Toyota is selling for the 07 Tundra and I can't for the life of me get those suckers on. I would swear they don't fit. And yes I did take the OEM pedals off first What's the trick? It took me all of 5 seconds to get the OEM's off and ultimately back on. But wrestled with the sport pedals for 25 minutes until I gave up. Going to have to get some KY Jelly for those things I think.

the gas pedal was easy to install than the brake pedal..it was a lil pain in a**..spray some soapy water (baby oil with water) on the back of sport pedals it should get easier to install...

Well damn then that means it's just me. I was thinking someone would say "I cut off the tabs and glued the f'ers on!" I will have to try harder and get more lube apparently.

Hmmm I could think of a few wife jokes right about now...

that brake pedal took bout 15 minutes to install wrestling with it made me sweat like a $2 whore...

I also used a small flathead screwdriver to open the tabs over the stock pedal...1mm by 1mm....

So it turns out I'm not retarded after all. The guy on EBay posted a pic of the sports pedals that WOULD fit my Tundra but actually sent me a slightly different pair of pedals that don't fit. No wonder he was 10 bucks cheaper than the other guys.

I Was At Ron Tonkin Last Week

I was going to get a set for my tundra---The parts man told me they would not fit on my truck which is a 08---Since I would bet they will not fit on a 07 either

Do you have the Crew Max? That's what I have and the package actually said "Reg and Access Cab". I honestly don't know if that was the difference or if the ones I received were for the earlier model Tundras.
