I was replacing a fuse and noticed that this container was empty. What is this container for, and shouldn't it have something in it...? I just took my truck in for service last week, so I feel like it should have something in it.
Ummm I can only find the drivers side reservoir and now I can't make right turns. Where is the passenger side reservoir?
Oh I found it, it's behind the passenger headlight. I had to add a gallon of fluid to fill it up. But now when I put my right turn signal on water squirts on my windshield. I am confused.
Now would be a good time to break out the trucks owners manual and go through it. If you don't have one, create a account on the Toyota Owners website and download one. Lots of important items you need to be checking and familiar with. Don't trust that a dealer is checking and toping off the fluids for you.
Brake fluid level will go down as the pads wear. I would check your brake pads to see if they are worn out. Hopefully you don't have a break line leak, though.
When you replace the pads, the fluid level will go back up.
Brake fluid. and after some of the replies I would be embarrassed to ask any questions on this site. Some nice mods to your tundra guys , just watch for the truck bed to start to rust away because if you do not notice it soon enough you are S.O.L. Toyota Dealer. offered to assist in the 9k box replacement by doing the job for only $4500 2008 5.7 Garage Kept, 37,000. I do not drive it much, Mods, Running boards, Century Cap and rubber bed mat that hid the softball size rust blisters till it was too late per the Corp to do any repairs under warranty. Owned a 91 Hilux with 22re before this one and should have known what to expect. Keep it long enough and I can put an aftermarket flat bed on it. Bill

I am sorry but if you ask a question like that you should be embarrassed. I would be afraid to drive anywhere near this guy. At first I thought that he has to surley be joking and just trying to get a rise out of people. I hope that is the case and he is not that inept. If he isn't joking I would fear for my life and for any hunters in his area. Apparently he bow hunts. I wonder if he knows what the long string on the bow does.
You would be surprised how many people have no clue what 99% of the stuff on their vehicle is. They get in and drive it, they probably have never even opened the hood on their vehicles...most likely they wouldn't know how to open it anyways LOL.
Several years ago that reservoir could have been a hydraulic clutch master cylinder, not so common anymore LOL. Would be cool to get a 6 or 8 speed manual transmission for the tundra though ....well heck may as well go for a 13 speed now since some vehicles already have 8 speed automatics LOL.
Nothing, just following you guys. You guys are funny. Well not following, but noticing some of the pictures and comments. Amusing. There are some other people here that are funny, but you two seem to amuse me more than them. Sorry if you took that the wrong way or if I seemed to be a dick
