Anyone who pulls up next to you "revving and calling on you" is a moron. Just let'em go. Leave that stuff at the track where it belongs. Who gives a horse's vagina who can reach the next stop light faster? Seriously.

If you really want to know how fast these things are, there are more than a dozen publications floating around the innnerrnetz with 0-60 and 1/4-mile times. PeAcE oUt HoMiE.

Seriously dude, your comparing apples with oranges. Plus there is no comparison in quality when you compare a Toyota to a Dodge. I wish I could of took a picture of my little 1985 Toyota 4x4 pulling not one but 2 Dodges at the same time out of the snow in Colorado. I still remember the days that you would take a Dodge into the hills and one of three things would happen. You would either overheat, breakdown, or at the very least come back with more squeaks and rattles. I am sure if the Tundra would have two more cylinders you would be sucking eggs and looking at tail lights.

Wait a minute you can't compare a 2 1/2 ton truck to a probably 3,000 lb car. That is just wrong, so OK let me see you race a Z06 Corvette, or a Porsche Carrera GT now who wins, Do I need to tell you? I didn't think so! Lets compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges.

There's a member at Tundra Solutions that posted a 13.9 sec 1/4 mile video of his RCSB Tundra........exhaust and intake, I believe.

Technically they are correct, as it is the fastest production truck ever. That term doesnt apply to SRT10s or Lightnings as they are limited production "special edition" trucks.

That said, you shouldnt have any problems w/ them. If youre a quad cab, a reg. cab tundra might be a fairly close race if your stock.

Edit: I assume by your sign in name you have an SRT10, if you are just a "Hemi", you may have serious issues w/o substantial mods.

I have run both the RC Ram 1500 and the QC Ram 1500 at the strip with my Double Cab Limited.
The Quad Cab was not really close as the weight difference was not that big. I pulled him from the line and never looked back.
On the other hand, the Reg Cab 1500 was able to pull up on me and catch me at the line running the 1/4 mile. We ran 4 times and the first 2 I was able to hold him off, but the last 2 he hooked up well at the line and ran me down just at the lights. All 4 runs I had him by just over .20 seconds at the 1/8 mile mark, but when myTundara came out of 2nd gear, it was like I tossed out an anchor and he just passed me.
This was a plain Reg Cab stripped with no options. One of those you see advertize for 15K on the lots.

Before my 07 CM Limited 5.7 I owned a 2003 2WD & 2004 4WD with 5.7 Hemi loved the truck however the service department not being able to fix anything on the first, second or third trip in and the warranty dept not wanting to pay for anything drove me away. I would have to say that my Tundra is as fast stock as my Dodge was with modifications (exhaust, Volant intake and Superchips). I still like the look of the Dodge and it is a fast truck and no real issues with the Tundra yet to compare the service too but I do know that when I bring it in for oil change and they rent me a car for $10.00 a day or take me to my work it's way easier and cheaper than Dodge and Enterprise car rental $40.00 a day.

My local toyota dealer will get me a ride to work and back when I get my oil changed and that helps me get to work.

I got to think the 5.7 V8 is a great engine with almost 400 HP and 400 Ft Pounds of tourque would move out .. but I don't think it would be much of a match to my 72 Roadrunner ... That said, I would rather put the bird on a trailer and tow it with the Tundra than the other way around!
