Check the rear veiw mirror. I thought it was coming from the passenger side dash also until one day my wife was riding with me and she said it was the mirror. Grab a hold of it and press where the two pieces come together. Bingo I think I will need to get it replaced. Check it out and let me know if antbody else has the same issue............JB

I only have about 600 miles on my truck and now I have this very loud rattle. Would only do it every now and then and not always on the same road in the same spot. Sounded like it was coming from under the center speaker, then as I was trying to lean forward and listen I found it was coming from my rearview mirror.
Not sure if it is the actual mirror or the plastic pieces that cover the wires on the windshield. But if I hold those pieces the rattle stops. Now I just need to find out what part is making the noise. Some felt might stop this.

Dealer fixed all my rattles, there was a loose bolt somewhere and he added padding where the dash meets the front window. no more rattles.

At least you guys don't have a rattle that sounds like a squeak every single time something happens in the suspension; i.e. a pothole, the frame flexing when going over a bump or even hitting striations in the road.
It sucks. -rockstate |

I finally found my problem. I was having a rattle in the front dash / passenger door panel. I wasn't quite sure which area it was coming from but I noticed mostly when the radio hit those low bass sounds. It was a vibrating sound. I spent some time in the garage this weekend jamming the stereo to see if I could find the source and sure enough I did. It turns out that that little compartment under the arm rest - i.e. change holder, whatever you want to call it was causing the vibration sound. There are a couple felt tabs inside, but I added a couple of those little rubber stick ons you see on your kitchen cabinets. After I put in place, I jammed up the tunes to see if the bass would cause it to vibrate and it did it. So for those of you seeking out a rattle, check out this little compartment. Also as previously mentioned in another post, the rear seat belts in my Crewmax can rattle if they are not properly in the down position. This can be annoying too. There's been more than one occasion where I have pulled over to get out and straighten those seat belts.

Yeah, mine rattles on the passenger side when it is cold as well. Goes away when the truck warms up. I thought it sounded like the door on the upper glove box. I'll keep listening.
