Put a K&N 63 Series Intake Kit on my '15 Tundra 4x4.

It took an hour to install. Initial impression is Good Buy. It does put a bit more kick in the responsiveness of the pedal. The sound is what surprised me most. I don't think I'll be seeing any improvement to mpg because it sounds so good to jump on it a little. :)

I'm going to try to post a link to a video here. Decent audible.

This is with stock exhaust. I think next up is the borla exhaust with dual output. Any advise there would be welcome.

After an evening of driving and my favorite (early Sunday morning) drive I can say with out a doubt the low end torque has improved significantly. It's chirping the tires which only have 3000 miles on them. I have no idea about the mpg yet. There will be no way to get an accurate record of that until I stop jumping on the gas. Just toying with it is feels more considerably more punchy. The additional sound is better than anticipated also. It's such an improvement I may move to the sound system instead of the exhaust.

FYI, it would be a good idea to make the things you linked "public" within google drive. nobody can see them :)

@skOLSEN, Why would you remove the stock CAI(outside air) and install an intake that sucks air from the hot engine bay?

K&N air filter test: K&N Air Filter Review - Debunking the Myths (and why OEM is better)
to be fair, and unless I'm mistaken, the intake he installed is not sucking in hot air from the engine bay. it is designed to seal against the hood and pull air form the same hole that the stock one does. it's also designed to allow more airflow but as your link points out, the engine probably isn't actually making use of that extra capacity. I'm not saying it's adding 20hp, but it shouldn't be hurting him at all. well... unless you count the fact that he will need to change the oil more often.

MDL. If I would of seen that before the install I prob would not have done it. I like data. Now that it's done and I feel and hear the difference it's going to stay in for a few weeks while I evaluate it. As for your question, I'm not sure how much "hot" air will make a difference with the performance but I'll certainly keep an eye on the temp gauge as well.

First 24 hours with it and I'm still all in on this modification. as mentioned it's a 90 day full return policy and I'm not shy about sending stuff back. I'll keep the thread updated.

I am sure the K&N will fit your needs as a lot of members use the K&N filter/intake. Most like the sound factor and was just pointing out the stock intake is a pretty good CAI from the factory.

I was just going by how it fit on my F150 where the seal against the hood was not 100%. I know it has some mixed reviews on some of the forums. On the forums we get to armchair quarterback these things.
