I just had all 4 corners powdercoated in glossy jet black for $97 at my local powdercoater.

Vinyl looks cheap, imo.

Looks awesome... I have the blazing blue pearl. Can you get colors like that matched in powder coating or do you know?

Depends on your powdercoater. The guys at Arizona powdercoating here in AZ had at least 100 different colors to choose from. Its more a matter of the color powder they can procure/mix to get the desired color.

Id call around or stop in and ask them. Youd be surprised how many colors are available.

IMO powdercoating is far more durable than paint and vinyl so when i see people wrapping bumper pieces which are generally abused from road debris and off road debris i cringe.

Yea, and for less than 100$, you can't go wrong imo. Thanks for the reply.

Do you know of a color that is exactly/ really close to the Blue Streak?
There are a few places I'd use it.

If I could get them powdercoated for that low of a price I would do it with a quickness. But the vinyl matched was only $23.

i understand that its cheaper to do, but if it were me, id do that as a temporary solution until you could find a good powdercoater. If for nothing else the piece of mind knowing that road debris wont chip or marr the vinyl.

just my opinion.

Yeah it's temp. I'm planning on buying some chrome ends and powder coating. Right now I only drive my 2016 6 times a year. So no real concern with road debris or rock chips.

got a quote for 160$ for all four corners, less than 100$ is a steal.

I'd try a couple different places. i was quoted in the 150 range (which i still think is a fair price) before finding this one for under 100.

Less than $100 is a great price. Does that include removing and installing the end caps?

I went the cheap route- I bought a few cans of black PlastiDip in an aerosol can. Looks great and touch-ups are no big deal.......
