hitem....i was looking at these pro comps pretty hard for my old Z71, and after doing a little reasearch i dispelled them from my list after i read 5 or 6 complaints of these seperating at highway speeds. i would reasearch those tire pretty hard before putting them on my truck. it might have been a bad run and a good tire got bad press. anyway i decided to put bfg at/ko on instead. there ok and look good. they are not very loud and the treadwear is great, they do not clean themself very well in the gooey stuff but thats any a/t tire. general has the grabber at2 that looks like a copy of the at ko. ive had great luck with their tires so i might give those a go......kinda went off on a tangent here didnt i

How are the Toyo OC M/T's for road noise and throwing rocks up the side of your truck? I've only ever had the BFG M/T's, they were alright but I'm a little older now and a quiet ride is a little more important, not to mention optimizing looks, performance AND MPG. Did you notice much of a drop in mileage going up a size and about 25 pounds a tire?

Motti, a heavier tire will drop your mileage. The last three trucks I owned all had BFG At's and I did see a slight drop in mileage because the tires are heavier. Thicker sidewalls or something like that. Im looking to maybe get something different this time.

A comparison between the Toyo AT's, Pro Comp AT's and BFG AT's? Anyone want to chime in? Im mainly looking at difference in road noise.

I've always been a BFG guy but wanted to try the Toyo Open Country's (37's by the way). So far it's been a semi quiet nice riding tire and I'm getting OK mileage out of em. For some reason I'm expecting all that to go south soon.
