guess i am the only one.. would most definitly NOT buy this truck again. Without a doubt it is the worst made product i have ever had from Toyota. New model or not, it has too many problems for me to classify it as a good truck. Sure the power is great, no disputing that. But at what cost? Horrible ride, poor paint, weak metal, terrible mpg, worst radio ever? that is not what i expect for this kind of money. Im not dissappointed at all, i think disgusted better defines my feelings for this truck. Sorry Toyota, this truck has lost you a lifelong customer.

Had mine since Aug. and have 6,300 miles on her with no problems. I have always been a ford man until now. This is the best truck I have owned and would dif buy another. White Crewmax Limited, 20" wheels, JBL System. Love this truck

Well I just did 5 loads of junk in the back with the bed extender on the crew max and it made life a whole lot easier. So, far so good with the Toyotas spray liner. I had no issues and had a blast cleaning out my yard. Im brand loyal to Toyota, Honda, and Chevy.

I would buy another one without a doubt. I have had mine since May with only one minor, annoying is probably a better word with my tire pressure sensor. I was a Ford man before this truck. Ford will have to really step up to get my business back

Great truck. I have had the Chevy Z71 and a Ram Hemi. The Tundra is better in most areas but it is newer too.
I havent had it long enough to talk about problems because it dont even have 500 miles on it yet. Here are some observations though... - The radio controls (yes I have them on the steering wheel too) are to far away from the driver. - The dash gauges are too deep. - The seats could be a bit softer. - The doors and tail gate seems pretty thin. - The TRD dual exhaust makes a deep drone sound at lower rpm's which is a bit irritating. - Gas milage is pretty good for as hard as I drive it. - Love all the storage compartments and cup holders. - The back up camera is a godsend. - Stock tires on the 20" rims will suck in the winter. - The paint looks "orange peeled" instead of perfectly smooth. - The interior styling is kind of cheap and cheesy. - It hands very well for a truck. |

Ya know I had a few small quirks with my 07 CREWMAX TRD 4X but it's still a great truck. Unfortunetly some a-hole clipped my back bumper and the corner of my bed.
So it is in the shop getting fixed. I am driving an older f150 from work. Damn i miss my Tundra But once i get it back i am planning to spend some money and come out hard with some new accessories...![]()

Bought mine in July. double cab 4x4 5.7L.
Took the family and trailer out camping within 4 days of buying. Handles like a dream. After 4 months, I can say I would still buy it again. However, there are a couple of things. The seat click makes me nuts. Talked to the dealer and have to have the truck in to get that taken care of. The other thing that I am not sure about is the tranny. I find that if I am rolling at low speeds and let off the gas, when I then slowly step on the gas the tranny waits a couple of seconds before there is power to the wheels. In a Dodge 1500, this means it is time to buy a new Tundra; especially when your truck, trailer and family start going backwards down a hill because the tranny is slipping so badly. I have to try this out some more and see if I can figure out what is going on here. However, I still recommended my brother in law to buy one (he got a crewmax). I have not seen the problem with the tailgate yet. |

Good...but some things.....
As I have posted before I brought the dbl 5.7 to tow a travel trailer. What is dissappointing somwwhat is not the motor which is strong but the payload and realistic capability. Still scratching my head how they can say 10,600 towing capacity yet with the truck weight you have to drive the truck by remote to reach the supposed capacity!! with limit of 16k gross weight the numbers just do not add up. With that said i do like the truck though it's also obvious one needs to change the tires to tow and i added a superspring which helps but does NOT change the weak, weak payload for such a large truck. Trying to decide whether to bite the bullet for a 3500 or keep this and hope Toyota comes out with a diesel or at least a heavier duty truck.
Have not had any warrantee issues or major concerns though the tail gate does seem to be a weak point and i am extra careful loading and unloading......(this is our 7th toyo in about 4 years so obviously a fan) |

Have all the "normal problems" (clock, air vent, piston slap, bumpy ride, and tail gate) but I am mostly happy. I am a diehard Toyota man (I have 4 Toyotas and a Corvette), but if I were to buy another truck, I would give Ford and Chevy a closer look next time.

I bought my 07 Crewmax 2wd TRD 5.7 about a month ago, and I like it so far. I traded in a 04 crew cab F250 Diesel. That was a damn good truck so this one has some big shoes to fill, however I think as long as lives up to it's specs I'll be happy. I didn't need the high towing power anymore since I sold my big 4x4 Jimmy but I still tow and haul big utilty 4x4 atv's. I havent done it yet but I am little nervous loading a 750lb wheeler over the tailgate into the back from what I have read.
Btw, I had an 01, and then an 04 f150 which had no problems with wheelers in the back and obviously my 04 f250 had no problems with the big wheelers in back. I think I may just buy a trailer rather than chance loading a utilty wheeler in the back. Anyone else load the big wheelers in the bed? Other than that reservation, I love the interior room and how fast the truck is. I also like the free oil changes and cheaper truck payment, not to mention the price of diesel fuel and diesel maintenance is a good riddance. |

Only issue has been the vent. Like everyone else said it seems to want to cool and heat the Headliner instead of me! Love the truck and would buy it again in a hearbeat.
