Try and pm burning coal his 2014 has 305/55/20 on xd monsters I'm not sure about the offset on those rims. I will more than likely be using stock rims.
The closest that I can find is a 275/65/20 Michelin but worried that it will rub with factory setup... It is 34.1 tall... Anybody know if they will work?
Installed Michelin 275 60 20 LTX MS2 today. Big difference in ride and truck stance selling the factory Dunlops. Toyota had a buy 3 get one free for 980 out the door.
My 295/60's are on a wheel with a 10 offset . I had to remove the front (small) mud flap, the front mud flap and also push the front liner up about an inch. Still have a small rub in reverse only that I have to track down but all else is good.
Ordered some husky liner mud flaps that are made a bit different than stock (more clearance) that I am going to try out.
I also have a 2014 tundra with 20" Platinum rims...not sure what rims you were eluding to in this post...what was the final word on largest/tallest tire size with a 3/1 and the stock rims? Im open to tire brand/size I don't want to trim anything more then a mud flap. THANKS
I am running 275/75/18's which is basically a 33" tire, Nitto Trail Grapplers with no lift. No rubbing at all. I am running SpiderTrax wheel Spacers for a wider, more aggressive stance.
I am looking at getting some new tires for my '14. I want a bigger tire, with a more aggressive look to it. Will definitely put the spacers in, just wanting to get some input on what tire looks best with NO lift put on the truck. I would like to see some pics of the 275/75/18's. Make it happen Winger12003!!!
That does look sweet, I am thinking of doing a 3/2 ReadyLift with some 305/55/20 DuraTracs. Would I need to install spacers with these or would they be big enough to put out an "aggressive" stance?
2014 with 3/1 ReadyLift, 295/70-18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on Method Standards with +18 offset. Removed mudflaps and have zero rubbing. No need to trim the skid plate with my wheel/tire combo.
Looks great, how much do the the tires stick out past the fenders? Just ordered a LRO 3/1 kit a couple of days ago and I've been researching wheels and tries, not looking to cut anything, but don't mind removing mud flaps. Thanks
How much of an offset can a guy have before the tires start sticking out too far? Like say over 1/2" I found some wheels I like but the offset is -12. Just wondering how much that's gonna stick out
A -12 offset will push the tires out of the wheel wells quite a bit. My tires are real wide (13.39") but with -12 offset they stick out 3" or more. On my old tundra I had a +30 offset and they stuck out around a half inch or a bit more with a 305/65R18. Hope that helps.
I have 275/70/18 duractracs mounted on the stock alloys with no rubbing issues.
