Question Washer pump removal - [SOLVED]

My washer pump failed and needs replacing.

I checked the fuses - OK.
Ran a wire from the plug to a volt meter in the cab - 12v when I actuate the switch.
Removed the washer fluid tank and applied 12v directly to the pump - nothing.
Cleaned the contact with deoxit and tried again - nothing.

I'm going to buy a new pump. How the heck do you get this thing out? I've looked at the manual and it implies you place a screw driver between the pump and tank to hold it in place while you unscrew it - but I can't figure it out. Has anyone removed their washer pump and are able to offer some guidance?

Also. I found a replacement pump on Sparks for $42+ shipping:
2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA Parts - Sparks Toyota-Scion

Then this one on Amazon for $10 shipped:
Amazon.com: Amico 85330-60190 Spare Part Black Plastic Windshield Washer Motor Pump: Automotive Amazon.com: Amico 85330-60190 Spare Part Black Plastic Windshield Washer Motor Pump: Automotive

Its been a long hot day and I'm kinda tired. Am I missing something with those two parts, they look identical. OK ones not OEM, but at a quarter of the price

I was able to remove the cap from the pump and clean the contacts inside, but I'm not sure how I get the whole pump out

It was that simple, just pulled clean out.
Looking at the drawing of the replacement part I thought the ring was an oversize plastic nut, it was just the rubber seal.

That pic helped. Thanks!
