OWNERS - Who Ordered Tundra from Factory

Hey everyone, I am just curious, how many people out there ordered their 2007 Tundra from the factory, through the delaer. If you did, how long did the dealer say it would take? If you already took delivery, how long did it take from day ordered to delivery? Thanks for all of your assistance, I am just anxious.

I did on March 20, I checked today with my sales guy and no Vin # has been assigned yet. He said maybe 2-3 more weeks. If you want one now and don't want alot of add on's they can find one and trade another dealer is what he told me. I wanted one with certian things and not others, plus I didn't want to pay the Toyoguard ($695.00) they put on each truck at the end of each build. It's a waste of money if you ask me. Plus I was able to add another 700.00 bucks in options. There are more and more out there with alot of options already on it and rumor has it they may stop some of the options included and make you pay more to get them. What are you looking at getting? Good luck. The way I asked my sales guy was to sit down and build one, and see what it comes out as.

I order a TRD SR5 4X4 CrewMax on 3/26 from the dealer: Silver Sky Metallic, Gray Interior, Bucket Seats, Upgraded JBL Stereo, Moonroof, Sonar, Mudguards, and some other minor stuff. I wanted the moonroof and steering wheel contols. I do feel at this point, steering wheel controls should be standard on some trim levels.

I called my sales guy (who rocks) and asked if I was able to get the 1000.00 dealer incentive even though I ordered my truck from the factory over two weeks ago and he said yes. Just FYI if anyone had already ordered like I did. Some times you just have to ask...

Hi all,

I also placed a special order on March 31st for my Tundra.

Crewmax, LTD, 5.7, 4x4, Slate/Graphite, Brushed SS step boards, mudguards, Cold weather pkg, and Daytime running lights. It had to be special order because all CM LTDs in my area are built out with the Moonroof and that is not desireable for me in WI. Please keep this thread going and report as you get more info. I will do the same. My dealer is telling me not to expect delivery until late June-early July. TORTURE!!:
