An 8 cylinder in a Tacoma would be cool. I have heard guys say that Toyota wont do it because it would be too much competition for the Tundra. That may be possible, but GM put an 8 cylinder in the Colorados/Canyons. Toyota did have a run of 4runners with 8 cylinders. An 8 cylinder Tacoma would be a cool trail truck.

Taco's don't compete with Tundras. I think Japan still doesn't fully get good old American wants.
