Have fun trying to wear out the Tundra.... Remember that post the other day about the 700,000 mile Tundra! You've got at least the better part of a decade before you wear that truck out!!!

I drove around 280 miles yesterday and 290 miles today.

You could do a commercial for Toyota. Customer tries to wear out his RC faster so he can justify a Crewmax. 200K later he is still working at it.

The cost of fuel to operate a 6000 pound 400 horsepower half ton that does 0-60 in under 7 seconds is kind of like the price of oil changes for a Porche 911. If you have to ask you probably can't afford it.

I think I am sabotaging myself

Slim you've got a great looking truck so I understand why it would be hard to drive the car while the Tundra is seducing you with it's stylish looks and V8 power. My 2011 CM almost has as many miles as your's because I insist in driving it everywhere. The wife has a '10 Camry SE which is a nice car but I hate driving it much less riding in it. The only time we take the car is when the Tundra is too muddy and the wife complains about the chance she might get dirt on her clothes getting in or out of it. Just go ahead trade but swap the shocks and tires to the new CM...sounds to me like you only need to decide on a color

There is a Toyota Dealer on a service road by my work that I have to drive by 5 times a day. They have a Black Crewmax 4x4 sitting out front. It sure is pretty.

I will buy a white truck if I buy another one.

If I went to the dealer to trade my truck in , I guarantee they would try to lowball me because of the struts ,tires and other mods.

I would make sure my wife was with me so I didn't wind up in handcuffs and tell them I would be back in four hours with the OEM struts and tires on it.

The voices in my head don't like you.

I hope okslim is getting enough sleep. I tossed and turned for weeks until I picked up my Tundra. My wife knows when I get set on something their is no use fighting me - I win almost every time.

Good luck Buddy

You guys check with the wifey? Well I just tell my wife how it's going to be and that's it! When her wrist watch broke and wanted it fixed, I told her the clock on our oven works just fine. Yup. She complained about having small feet, but I reassured her it's an evolutionary thing....let's her stand closer to the kitchen counter. (Anybody got a couch I can sleep on in the event she finds this post?)

Slim. Plant the seed. Put up a Tundra CM screen saver on every phone, tablet, laptop and computer you own. Slowly it will sink in to her and one day she will say, "Go see what the dealer has to offer".
