Tundras are no fun in the snow.

The traction control and stability control work too well.

That is all.

Get a 4x4, Bridgestone Blizzaks all around, 500 lbs weight over the rear axle. Repeat test.

Hold for 3 seconds until you see lights pop on & if its a 2010+ do it twice.

Truck does just fine in the snow. Its those crappy stock tires that hold me back. I can get around to where I need to go just can't pull any one who gets stuck. Can't wait to upgrade.

It's all about the tires, but I will say the TT is light on its feet for a vehicle of its size, the electronics (once you subdue the throttle-chopping nanny) work very well, and steering is very precise. It's a hell of a truck, really a pleasure to bomb through the winter wonderland.

The Mountain+Snowflake rated (i.e. severe snow service, no relation to the Mud+Snow designation) BFG AT KO that's stock on the RW is probably the only good tire you can get stock from Toyota, but it is a hell of a tire - very competent across the whole all-terrain all-season spectrum.
