Not sure where to post this so I'll start here. Mods, move if need be.
I want to add growl to the my SR5 but I don't want to change tips. I'm kind of a sucker for the stock OEM look. I'm needing to know which muffler to get for this particular exhaust change. Only wanting to change the muffler.

Consider the TRD system. I also prefer stock OEM but added the TRD exhaust as a dealer installed option as part of the new truck purchase. Not cheap but great quality and sound.
Engineeried to bolt right in.

Screw trd, 1k for a quiet system that doesn't improve much of anything. Any muffler that is 2.25"-2.5" inlets and outlets and it needs to be a dual inlet single outlet to work for stock replacement. And muffler shop can change it out for you for less than 100 bucks on top of whatever you pay for the muffler

Sorry to jump on your thread here, but I just put on a FLowmaster stainless, and for some reason my mpg's are falling. It has gotten colder here, which for some reason my truck gets worse gas mileage in the cold. The flows are 2.5", so I didn't go too big. Why is this happening? Also I have a AFE cold air intake on as well.

Is this just a muffler swap or replacing the entire exhaust system? Gas mileage tends to go down in colder weather due to increased ethanol content in fuel and the PCM increasing fuel delivery due to intake air being more dense.
