Every time I have downloaded either a torrent client application or a torrent file it has always contained either undesirable crapware or virus.

I tried it again tonight, on a lark. Guess what happened?

You're going to the wrong places...I've never downloaded anything harmful. Loved demonoid, but that is gone...I usually roll kat.ph now...click on verified torrents and no "adult" stuff when you do your searches, that weeds out 99.9% of the bad guys. Also read the comments from other users...make sure you're downloading something with lots of comments, good feedback, and lots of "seeders"...
