I'm no techno geek but the MyFordTouch Sync system is built on mobile flash. That technology was prone to crashing so much that most mobile sites do not use it. Well guess what MFT uses? There are constant issues with it. I may be using the wrong technogeek terms, but the system has major flaws due to the OS.

Funny part is you listen to them and how "advanced" the system is. I had a GX470 with the Mark Levinson sound system that did just about everything the MFT Sync does minus the USB updates. Climate, phone, Nav. My Lexus was a 2005.

I had MFT for a short time and quickly realized that I like a more simple vehicle. I want the emphasis on quality and reliability, not some half baked, half ass microfart system that works when it wants.

I've been wheeling since I was 6 years old with family and there is one constant truth. Real wheelers are built, not bought. I'd rather build my rig than have FoMoCo build it for me. Isn't building your shit and standing out from others the point??!?!?!?!

A guy selling them in ebay. Not sure if he's a member here or on TS. He calls them Angry Eyelids.
